What area do you represent?
I rep the DMV, but I’m out that “M” part, PG County Maryland.
Your name has been buzzing for a while. How did you get everyone to take notice?
I started in the open mic scene in 2013 at Island Café, Pure Lounge and performed all over the DMV. I was networking and grinding. My face was on everything and every stage I could get on. I would perform without hesitation.
How would you describe your sound?
My sound has evolved. When I started it was straight-street with an edge of witty clever lyrics.

During a full capacity show at the legendary Howard Theatre in Washington DC Dior Ashley Brown spoke with the Grammy winning Hip Hop Soul pioneers, 25 years in the game, De La Soul.
Dior: What’s good. The energy out there was amazing. How does that feel?
Plug 3: It felt real good. It felt like home. We spend a lot of time out of the country so it’s always special when we get to hit certain cities like DC. DC has been supporting us since ’88.
Dior: Where did you just come from overseas?
